Our condo is built on rocks so we have to walk around a point in these rocks to get to a sandy beach. Our condo used to have a sandy beach but the last big storm washed all of the sand away. They say if you go snorkeling about two hundred yards out, the bottom looks like a dessert. That's where all the sand went.
Walking around the point, first beach you come to is small but very pretty.
We continued walking above the beach on a stone "sidewalk" that was there.
This sidewalk wound along the top of the rocks with look outs along the way.
On one side of this sidewalk was the ocean and on the other side were more condo units. There were multiple places where you could wash the sand off your feet.
The various condo complexes had built hot tubs into the rocks.
We continued walking and shortly came to a second beach. It was similar to the first but larger.
Tomorrow we will do some more exploring of the beach and the town.
